CYBER cafÉs

In 2005, SBSS Mid-City opened the Borchardt Cyber Café, an inviting technology center where seniors experience a variety of tech advances while socializing with the SBSS community. Cyber Cafés are now available at all 3 SBSS senior centers.

The Cyber Café provides Internet access and allows seniors to stay connected via email, webcams and social media platforms. Seniors can schedule one-on-one instruction or use the computer on personal time, with staff and volunteers to assist as needed. Computers are programmed for numerous languages to suit seniors' preferences.
