GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

St. Barnabas Senior Services seeks to build relationships with elected and appointed officials on behalf of seniors in our community. Our government relations department works to educate, inform and engage policymakers in age-friendly fiscal and public policy that benefits seniors, their caregivers and families.

Los Angeles is currently home to over 1.5 million older adults, and that number is set to double over the next 30 years; it is expected that 1 in every 4 Angelinos will be over the age of 60 by 2050. With projections of numbers like these, the leadership St. Barnabas Senior Services provides in engaging elected officials is timely and relevant to the changing demographics of our community.
